William Barr Pick for Attorney General Horrifying for LGBT Rights

WASHINGTON D.C — (12-07-18) — President Donald trump picks anti-LGBT rights advocate William Barr as the next Attorney General (AG). This is someone whom you will remember, wrote an article for the Catholic Lawyer, where he states that the “the homosexual movement” is garnering far too much attention into our society.

William Barr is no stranger to attacking the LGBT community. He went as far as to say in his article for The Catholic Lawyer,  that homosexual activists groups should not be treated any differently than other student groups.  Not to mention is objection to our Republic passing laws that protect LGBT citizens. “Secularists use law as a weapon by passing laws that affirmatively promote the moral relativist viewpoint.” wrote William Barr.

This is someone who doesn’t believe in the separation of Church and State as our founders set forth.  Instead, in this reporter’s opinion, wants to turn our great nation into a Theocracy style government.

The anti-LGBT candidate for the highest law enforcement job in the country had the nerve write in his article…“It is no accident that the homosexual movement, at one or two percent of the population, gets treated with such solicitude while the Catholic population, which is over a quarter of the country, is given the back of the hand. “How has that come to be? We need to go back to basics and reassemble the flock.” wrote Barr.

Barr served as attorney general for the late President George H.W. Bush is the last person we need in serving as attorney general of the United States.

GLAAD president and ceo Sarah Kate Ellis, released a statement on Barr’s nomination:

“William Barr, who has wrongfully suggested that LGBTQ people – not Trump and his destructive policies – have harmed the United States, is the latest in a long line of replacements who President Trump has appointed to his Cabinet who are just as anti-LGBTQ as their predecessors,” said Sarah Kate Ellis, president and CEO of GLAAD. “If confirmed, there’s little doubt that William Barr would continue the Trump administration’s objective of erasing LGBTQ Americans from the fabric of this nation.” said Ellis.
