This is what she endured over the past four years of dealing with problematic manufacturing politics in China.

“Our onshoring decision had nothing to do with current political climate of the US-China trade war,” said Deborah Semer. “We started looking for alternatives a year ago after a series of epic manufacturing war stories. I will admit, we are very happy with the timing.” said Semer.

According to Deborah Semer, she spent an exhaustive amount of time looking for alternatives to Chinese manufacturing and shipping costs that could compete with what she was dealing with at the time. Deborah said…”The quality and expertise of the US factories I visited were night and day compared to the factories in China and Mexico. I actually cried from relief at my first U.S. production meeting.” concluded Semer.
