ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO — (04-24-24) — An Overland man has been arrested for allegedly stealing over $1,500 worth of sex toys from the popular Hustler Hollywood adult store and then attempting to sell them on Facebook Marketplace.  Now that’s chutzpah!

According to the Berkeley Police Department’s probable statement, the theft took place on March 6 at the Hustler Hollywood store, where police allege that suspect, Christopher Booth, removed eight vibrators from the Hustler Hollywood store displays, put them in a white trash bag, and ran from the store without paying for them.

According to the Hustler Hollywood store manager, the sex toy vibrators were worth approximately $1,539.20.

Police further stated that the suspect was in the store the day prior, arguing with an employee before being told to leave the premises. Employees identified Booth by his “314” tattooed on his neck. Investigators further stated that they discovered the sex toys for sale on Facebook Marketplace under Christopher Booth’s profile.

Police further stated that Booth was questioned by police, where he denied taking the vibrators. He said he could not have stolen the sex toys nor try to sell them because he didn’t have a Facebook account. Booth is due to appear in St. Louis County Circuit Court on May 16.
