Shock waves are rocking the White House this afternoon as reports of FBI agents serving a No-Knock Warrant on President Trump’s longtime personal attorney and fix it man, Michael Cohen in Manhattan.  Not only did they raid Cohen’s office but they also served a No-Knock search warrant on his home as well.

Federal agents collected records and payment information in connection with the Stormy Daniels case. The law firm where Cohan was renting office space out of quickly stated that they are cooperating fully with the FBI and that Cohen only rented office space from the firm.

The New York Times reports that prosecutors obtained a warrant from the top players at the Justice Department to search Trump’s lawyer’s offices after receiving a referral from Special Counsel Robert Mueller‘ office. The special counsel reportedly provided federal agents with relevant information they found during their investigation into Russian meddling.

Sources inside the White House said that Trump was aware of the raid after it happened and watched the news coverage in the White House residence. This happens on the day where the president is dealing with Syria and the possibility of authorizing air strikes over an alleged chemical attack in a suburb of Damascus Syria a few days ago.

President Trump said he first heard about the raid when the press did on cable television in the residence.   Reporters say that Trump is calling this a “witch hunt” and was clearly upset over the raid on his personal attorney’s office and home…”This is a disgrace…It’s an attack on our country.  The special counsel is a conflicted group of people that I have ever seen! Trump went on to attack Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia investigation.

Even good friend of Donald Trump Geraldo Rivera had grim words for the president.

Michael Cohen’s lawyer, Stephen Ryan, immediately protested the no-knock search warrant as “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.”

An official briefed on the search told the New York Times that Cohen was cooperative during the search and even as authorities collected his emails, tax documents, and other records of interest to the Russian meddling investigation and the Daniels hush-money case, Cohen did not cause a scene.

Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti, offered his reaction to the news via twitter.
