LAS VEGAS, NV — (10-11-18) — SPEED KILL is an upcoming thriller starring John Travolta as Don Aronow. The film is directed by John Luessenhop and Jodi Scurfield. Speed Kills chronicles the career of a speedboat champion who made high-end boats and fell in with cocaine runners and organized crime.
The real Don Aronow was found murdered in his car in Miami in 1987.
Rene Besson, Alastar Burlingham took the reigns of executive producers with Hannibal Pictures and Pimienta Productions. Following the announcement of John Travolta taking the lead, casting agents quickly secured Katheryn Wnnick (Geostorm) and Jennifer Esposito.
SPEED KILLS is being distributed in the USA by Saban Films (The Super), (Occupation). No release date has been set for domestic distribution as of this post. Principal filming on Speed Kills took place between May – July 2017.
