Adult store robbery suspect was charged with in connection to an incident that occurred at the San Antonio Adam & Eve adult store. According to the Bexar County affidavit, the woman identified as Marie Acevedo, 27, entered the Adam & Eve adult store located at 6957 San Pedro Ave on July 24.
Marie Aceveda is alleged to have taken several clothing items to the cashier. Then Acevedo said she didn’t have enough money to pay and asked the cashier to remove some items from her total.
While the clerk was in the process of doing so, Acevedo grabbed the clothing and ran out the front door, according to the affidavit says. The cashier chased Acevedo in an attempt to recover the stolen merchandise.
Once he caught up with her a struggle ensued. Acevedo picked up a stick and began beating the cashier. Following the beating, the cashier was left with injuries to her face and arms, according to the affidavit.
During the struggle, Acevedo dropped the merchandise and fled the scene. However like most dumb criminals, she dropped her cell phone and wallet which the cashier recovered. The wallet contained her identification which lead to police making an arrest.
