‘Human Rights Campaign’ posted a huge message for President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, ‘Silence Is Deadly’, right on the wall of the Helsinki Presidential Palace several hours before the two leaders began their private summit.

Already mainstream media outlets are posting the banner worldwide which reads, “Trump and Putin: Stop the Crimes Against Humanity in Chechnya,”. Not only that but another large message was posted reading…“Silence is deadly” as well as “The whole world is watching”.

The ‘Human Rights Campaign’ posted the following statement on Twitter:

“Last year, reports surfaced of Chechen authorities rounding up and detaining more than 100 men who were suspected of being gay or bisexual and 20 have been murdered. Today #HRC confronted Trump and Putin in Helsinki over these crimes against humanity.  For more than 15 months, Donald Trump has refused to publicly condemn the systematic torture, abuse and murder of LGBTQ people occurring in Chechnya as Vladimir Putin has licensed the violence to continue.”

President Trump has had to deal with protesters during his entire trip to Europe and Finland. No matter where President Trump visited he was met with protesters. The Human Rights Campaign has launched a major campaign which took them to Helsinki where they marched for LGBTQ rights and to condemn Trump and Putin’s anti-LGBTQ policies.
