Caught on Camera: Garden of Eden Adult Store Suspects

Caught on Camera is what has happened to three armed suspects who Garden of Grove police detective Jim Franks believes are responsible for the multiple armed robberies that have occurred between 3 and 5 a.m. over the past three months.

In fact since March 20, there have been three armed robberies and an attempted robbery at the Garden of Eden Adult Bookstore located at 12061 Garden Grove Blvd in Garden Grove, Calif. (Map It)

Last Tuesday, police released surveillance video – Yes, Caught on Camera, to the media in hopes to identify the dangerous people behind three early morning armed robberies and an attempted robbery at a Garden Grove adult bookstore. Poice stress that these suspects are not to be approached as they are considered armed and dangerous.

Garden Grove police Lt. Carl Whitney added…”During the robberies, a male suspect entered the business and threatened the clerk with a semi-automatic handgun,” said Lt. Whitney. “The robber left with an undisclosed amount of cash.” said Lt. Whitney.

Police have a scenario on the investigation and that is, the robberies have involved one man entering the retail business and proceeding to threaten the employee with a semi-automatic handgun,” said Det. Franks. “The suspect has fled after taking cash.”

“The other robberies occurred on May 16, June 1 and the attempted robbery occurred on June 12, said Lt. Whitney. “During the June 1 robbery, which you can review in the video below, one of the men waited in front of the business and was seen standing next to a woman who may have acted as a lookout. The June 12 attempted robbery, one of the male suspects covered his face and threatened the clerk with a handgun before leaving without any money,” said Lt. Whitney.

Both male suspects are described as Hispanic, 25-30 years old with visible tattoos. The female is described as white and also 25-30 years old. She wore prescription glasses and had tattoos on her legs. All of the individuals should be considered armed and dangerous.
