TULSA, OK — (06-20-20) — Six campaign staffers from the Trump Campaign’s advance team on the ground for the Trump Rally have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Trump campaign confirmed six staffers working on the Tulsa rally tested positive for coronavirus and they will not be attending the Trump Campaign Rally today at the BOK Center.

Communications Director Tim Murtaugh of the Trump Campaign confirmed that officials are now testing everyone who has come into contact with the Trump staffers.

“As previously announced, all rally attendees are given temperature checks before going through security, at which point they are given wristbands, facemasks and hand sanitizer,” said Murtaugh.

The news comes as Trump, the White House and the president’s re-election campaign organization have been criticized for hosting an event in an enclosed, 19,000-seat  BOK Center arena in Tulsa.

UPDATE: 06-22-2020 : 10:49 pm) – Two additional members of the Trump Campaign advance team have tested positive for COVID-19.  Both attended the rally and wore face masks during the entire event.
