LOS ANGELES, CA — (06-17-20) — xHamster announces a three-day fundraising event for trans and sex worker charities. Starting Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, xHamster is opening its cams to activism.
The tube site will offer special 15-30 minute slots for activists, artists, sex workers and LGBTQ+ content creators to broadcast to our users.
“What you do is up to you, but your ‘show’ will be featured in the thematic top slots of both xHamsterLive and our Pride partner, Stripchat,” said the company in announcing the event. “You’ll also be promoted on our social media channels.”
The company continued, “For activists, artists, displaced sex workers, this is a chance to build your online following, raise awareness and generate money for the movement. Money raised through online activism along with additional donations from xHamster will be transferred to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, the Sex Workers Outreach Project and Rainbow Railroad.”
