A man was arrested by Miami Police Department for swinging a pipe at customers and employees of an adult video store in Miami. “Amer Abdelkhaliq” is accused of threatening police by allegedly saying “I am Arab’ ‘I’m going to kill all officers,’ said police.
Amer Abdelkhaliq, 31, was arrested Sunday after the incident at the “Miami Playground” adult video store located at 2657 NW 36th Street where he works.
According to a Miami police report, officers arrived and saw Abdelkhaliq angry and swinging a pipe at passersby. Police further stated in the police report that Amer Abdelkhaliq refused to leave several times and said he wasn’t doing “s—” when he was asked to stop.” said police.
Abdelkhaliq “screamed that the Orlando massacre was going to be nothing compared to what he was getting ready to do” and that he had access to AK-47s and all types of weapons”, stated the police report.
Police said after Amer Abdelkhaliq was arrested, he “kept making threats” to kill the officers as he was being taken to jail.
Abdelkhaliq was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on multiple charges, including threatening a public servant, trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence. Abdelkhaliq was being held on a $6,500 bond.
Police further state that no employees or customers were injured during the incident.
