R&B singer Chris Brown was arrested right after walking off stage of his concert in Palm Beach, Florida on a felony battery charge from 2017.  The multi-award winning R&B singer was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.

Tampa Police released more details on the battery warrant late Friday after Chris Brown posted a $2,000 bond to be released. The warrant accuses Chris Brown of hitting Bennie Vines Jr., who was hired by a nightclub in Tampa to take pictures during an event hosted by Brown in April 2017. Brown was paid by the club owner to appear for the event.

Photographer Bennie Vines told police that the singer sucker punched him while he was taking photos of the scene. Brown fled the scene prior to the police arriving.

Police said that Vines refused medical treatment but told the officers that he wanted to prosecute Brown over a minor lip cut he received from the sucker punch.

Brown is currently promoting his ‘Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour‘ and was scheduled to perform in Tampa Friday night. Little did he know that he would be taken into custody following his sold out concert.
