Spokesperson for the Orange Police Department told our newsroom that Ryan O’Leary, 27, has been arrested and charged with fourth-degree sexual assault against two employees at a popular adult retail store earlier this month.

According to the Orange Police Department, on Feb. 9 at 10:43 a.m., officers received a complaint of sexual assault from two employees at what was posted on the police blotter as a call to a “local adult oriented retail establishment.” The adult store was not mentioned.

Police reports said that officers learned that Ryan O’Leary, of Derby entered the adult store and proceeded to engage two different employees at different times during his visit.

Allegedly, O’Leary acted inappropriately with both of the workers. Police said O’Leary used his hand to touch one of the employees, and later he allegedly used a display item to touch the other employee. Both employees reported O’Leary to their manager who then ordered him out of the store. The manager called police on the incident.

Once police located O’Leary a short time later at his residence, they took him into custody and charged him with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and two counts of breach of peace.

O’Leary was held on a $10,000 bond. His case is set to be in court on March 6.
