CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA — (03-24-24) — A jury convicted a Mechanicsburg man last week for burglarizing one of the Excitement Video adult store locations in Cumberland County. The Cumberland County District Attorney’s office says Andrew Angle was convicted on all counts for the January 2023 break-in.

Back on January 26 of last year, officers encountered Angle and discovered five pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and burglary tools such as bolt cutters and crowbars. Upon further examination, police found a large number of items from Excitement Video, located near where they encountered Angle.

The District Attorney’s office said that Excitement Video had been closed due to a fire and the business had been burglarized. During their investigation detectives said that they learned Andrew Angle cut the locks on the adult store business’s rear doors and replaced them with his own locks.

Police say that the Excitement Adult store suffered over $3,000 in damages. Not to mention the sex toys that were recovered could not be re-sold by the store.

Among the charges Angle was convicted on were burglary, theft by receiving stolen property, and multiple drug charges.
