MADISON, WI — (12-21-20) — Madison police confirmed to JRL CHARTS they arrested a man at a popular adult store last Friday night for breaking a glass countertop, damaging displays and trying to knee one of the officers in the groin at the time of his arrest.

Officers were called to the Selective Video II adult store located at 3220 Commercial Ave, around 7 p.m., according to officer Tyler Grigg of the Madison Police Department.

According to officer Tyler Grigg, witnesses inside the Selective Video II adult store said the man was yelling “fight me” at customers and telling others he was going to “knock them out,”.

The suspect identified as Tommie L. Crawford, 61, was observed by officers threatening people inside the store. According to the officers on scene, Crawford attempted to knee an officer in the groin.

No customers or employees were injured during the incident however, Tommie L. Crawford faces charges of disorderly conduct, battery to law enforcement and criminal damage to property.
