TAMPA, FL — (05-10-23) —Tampa Homicide detectives are investigating the death of William Futral, owner of gay pay site, TheGuySite.com, who was found dead on May 1.
Detectives released a statement pertaining to the investigation without naming the victim, however it didn’t take long for sources close to Futral to confirm to adult entertainment news media outlets that the victim in this case was indeed gay porn network’s owner William Futral.
Official Press Release:
“The Tampa Police Department is investigating a homicide at the Beck Apartments, located at 8801 Hidden River Parkway.On May 1, 2023, just after 2:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the apartment complex after a maintenance worker discovered the body of a deceased adult male. An autopsy on the victim revealed he died as a result of upper body trauma.
This is believed to be a targeted attack and there is no threat to the public at this time. The investigation is ongoing and any additional updates will be provided via a press release from TPD’s Public Information Office.”
While Tampa PD detectives believe that the killing was “a targeted attack,” the investigation continues.
