Magic Wand announce Pride Month Charitable Pride Pin Drive

NAPA, CA — (06-19-20) — Give it up to multi award-winner Magic Wand, as they celebrate PRIDE month with their Charitable ‘Pride Pin’ Drive.

In the spirit of Pride Month, a time to celebrate LGBTQ identities as well as to commemorate activism, the company that manufactures the Magic Wand vibrator is holding a charitable drive to support California’s LGBTQ Connection and Louisiana’s Forum for Equality.

Vibratex, the official distributor of the Magic Wand Original, Magic Wand Plus and Magic Wand Rechargeable, is offering donors an exclusive Pride pin featuring the Magic Wand, along with other prizes, with proof of donation.

“Pride is a time for celebration,” said Vibratex owner and vice president Shay Martin. “But the joy of celebrating should also include acknowledging the decades of hard work that have been done to uplift LGBTQ voices—and all the work that’s still sorely needed,” said Martin.

Martin continued…“We chose to support Napa-based LGBTQ Connection to help our small local community since our town is mainly tourism-focused. We feel the LGBTQ community may need a stronger voice in this little valley that is so wine-centric,” Martin added. “We’re also choosing to support Forum for Equality, an organization that works actively in Louisiana, a state that still struggles significantly with equality and legislation that, for example, up until 2014, banned the use of vibrators in the state. In Louisiana, the LGBTQ community needs support to overcome archaic laws and views. Both groups are working hard to drive wider cultural change and acceptance.” said Martin.

Those looking to support LBGTQ Connection and/or Forum for Equality via Vibratex’s Pride Pin initiative may make a donation directly to one or both of the organizations.

Depending on your donation – You will receive one of the following “prizes” from Vibratex:

• $10.00 donation: Vibratex will match the donation and the donor will receive one Pride pin (up to 1,000 total donations)
• $15.00 donation: Vibratex will match the donation and the donor will receive one Pride pin and one additional pin of choice (up to 1,000 total donations)
• $40.00 donation receives one Magic Wand Plus and one Pride pin (up to 1,000 total donations)

In order to receive the corresponding “prize” from Vibratex, simply submit documentation of the donation (screengrab of receipt), preferred choice of second pin (if relevant), shipping address and email address to their official website here.

Submissions that do not include full documentation cannot be processed. Pin drive donation period ends on June 30, 2020 at midnight PT. Donation documentation must be submitted no later than July 15, 2020 at midnight PT. Recipients must be over the age of 18 and located in the United States or Canada.
