NEW YORK — (10-18-19) — HBO unleashes  “The Outsider” official trailer, a Stephen King thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat in suspense and terror.

The upcoming HBO series stars John Gettier, Marc Menchaca, Jason Bateman and Ben Mendelsohn.

Stephen King returns in 2020 with ‘The Outsider” Series

The upcoming horror genre miniseries is based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. HBO ordered the production to series on December 3, 2018,[ after being optioned as a miniseries by Media Rights Capital in summer 2018.

Storyline:
“The Outsider begins by following a seemingly straightforward investigation into the gruesome murder of a young boy. But when an insidious supernatural force edges its way into the case, it leads a seasoned cop and an unorthodox investigator to question everything they believe in.”
