HOLLYWOOD, CA — (02-07-19) — Paramount Pictures has released Pet Sematary trailer #2 starring Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, and John Lithgow. The must see upcoming horror film from directors Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer is based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name.
Di Bonaventura Pictures and Paramount Pictures brings the second adaptation of the novel of the same name by Stephen King, after the 1989 film.
Principal photography on Pet Sematary began on June 18, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and wrapped filming in October 2018.
Synopsis:
“Dr. Louis Creed and his wife, Rachel, relocate from Boston to rural Maine with their two young children. The couple soon discover a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near their new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his neighbor Jud Crandall, setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unspeakable evil with horrific consequences”
Paramount Pictures has Pet Sematary set to be released in theaters on April 5, 2019.
