Get First Look At CHUCKY 7: Cult of Chucky Movie Trailer

LAS VEGAS, NV — After years of uncertaintity, the next chapter in the Horror Film franchise is coming this fall entitled, Cult of Chucky [2017].

The Cult of Chucky is an American supernatural slasher film from the creator and director of the Child’s Play franchise, Don Mancini, who by the way, continues to be the Child’s Play franchise’s creator and sole writer to date.

In the seventh installment of the Child’s Play franchise, comes Brad Dourif as Chucky, and a supporting cast of Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Jennifer Tilly and Summer H. Howell – all of whom are returning cast members from the previous six installments.

The film began production in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada back in January 2017. According to Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, Cult of Chucky will also be released with an additional unrated version on Blu-ray, DVD and VOD.

Plot:
“Nica Pierce has spent four years in a mental institution after members of her family were murdered, a crime she did not commit. Her psychiatrist gives her a Good Guy doll as a therapeutic tool. Soon afterwards, a new string of murders take place around the asylum, making Nica suspect that Chucky, the possessed doll behind the crimes she was accused of and whom she has concluded is a figment of her imagination, is behind her predicament. Meanwhile Andy, Chucky’s old nemesis and original child victim, comes to Nica’s aid, while dealing with Tiffany, Chucky’s former wife”
