NEW YORK, NY — (05-30-24) — A New York jury made up of seven women and five men found Donald Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts on Thursday, after two days of deliberations. The New York jury in the Trump porn star hush money trial didn’t buy the former president’s defense on any of the charges filed against the now convicted felon.
Trump was found guilty of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments he had his handler Michael Cohen make to porn star Stormy Daniels, a person whom he had sex with while his wife Melania was pregnant with their son Barron.
The jury found that the former one term president committed the felony crimes in an effort to illegally influence the 2016 election. Trump’s sentencing is now set for July 11th at 10 a.m.
The ironic thing is, as a convicted felon, Trump can not vote for himself this November in his home state of Florida, but can continue to run as the GOP candidate for president.
Trump is scheduled to hold a press conference on Friday, May 31, 2024.
