Synopsis:
“While vacationing at a remote cabin in the woods, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand they make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. Confused, scared and with limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”

The upcoming American apocalyptic psychological horror film directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who wrote the screenplay from an initial draft by Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman, is based on the 2018 novel The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul G. Tremblay.

The Knock at the Cabin project has awaited a major release date for several years, as The Black List and GLAAD List, listed the initial draft of the film by Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman, as one of the most popular unproduced screenplays of 2019.
