LAS VEGAS — (09-10-22) — Marvel’s Secret Invasion Official Trailer drops starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos. Disney+ is going for another original series hit after its blockbuster original series Obi Wan Kenobi (2022) shattered Disney+ records.

The official trailer features Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, and, of course, Samuel L. Jackson. Along with returning cast members from Captain Marvel, Secret Invasion also stars Kinglsey Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman and Emilia Clarke.

Storyline
A sect of Skrulls comes to Earth in order to take over the planet, but Nick Fury, Talos, and their allies have to stop the shape shift aliens, despite the fact that they can’t tell who is an enemy and who isn’t. Cheadle’s Rhodey also shows up in the trailer, along with a few other familiar MCU characters — or maybe the Skrull imposter version of them.”

Created by Kyle Bradstreet for Disney+ and based on the Marvel Comics storyline of the same name, the sci-fi drama thriller is intended to be the ninth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios.

The Secret Invasion mini-series will have six episodes and will be directed by Thomas Bezucha (Monte Carlo) and Ali Selim (Sweet Land).
