Durham Police have arrested a male suspect after he allegedly robbed an adult store.  While processing the suspect through their database, they discovered that he is wanted in 8 other robberies over the past 7 weeks.

An officer on patrol spotted the suspect identified as “Marion Lesean Daniels”, on Crooked Creek Parkway shortly after he allegedly robbed the Adam & Eve Adult Store located at 6400 Fayetteville Road. When the officer stopped Daniels, he called for backup and during the search of the suspect, officers found a weapon, said police.

According to police, out of the nine total robberies he is being charged with, guns were seen in six of the surveillance tapes and a weapon was implied in the remaining 3, claims police.

In addition to the Adam & Eve Adult store robbery on Jan. 12, Daniels is charged by police with the following armed robberies:

Dec. 12 at G&R Tobacco, 4400 North Roxboro St.
Dec. 14 at Marathon Gas, 3705 North Duke St.
Dec. 15 at Triangle Mini Mart & Tobacco, 2508 Hillsborough Rd.
Dec. 17 at ABC Tobacco, 1517 Glenn School Rd.
Dec. 17 at Avondale Mini Mart & Tobacco, 2206 Avondale Drive
Jan. 6 at Cruizers, 3446 Hillsborough Rd.
Jan. 7 at G&R Tobacco, 4400 North Roxboro St.
Jan. 11 at Triangle Mini Mart & Tobacco, 2508 Hillsborough Rd.
Jan. 12 at Adam & Eve, 6400 Fayetteville Rd.

Police state that their investigation is on going and that the suspect may be facing additional charges.
