Openly Gay Wrestler Jake Atlas Signs with WWE

Jake Atlas is no stranger to rubbing elbow with the top brass at WWE as he has appeared on the reality show ‘Undercover Boss’, featuring WWE Chief Brand Manager Stephanie McMahon.

On the episode, Jake Atlas explained to Stephanie McMahon that he wanted to become the WWE’s first signed pro wrestler who was openly gay. At the end of the show, McMahon surprised Atlaas with a “brand ambassador” contract.

Now after a successful run in PCW UltraLight, McMahon is ready for Atlas to hit the WWE and NXT rings.

In an interview with OutSports after winning the PCW UltraLight title, Jake Atlas said…”To have management believe in my story and background, allowing me to showcase my pride with the lifestyle I live, has been an incredible sense of relief,” said Atlas.

“I am one of the leading faces of PCW Ultra, along with some of the greatest talent in the world,” said Atlas. “I am also gay. I am proud of that.” said Atlas.
