Russian Media have been broadcasting to their citizens on ways to survive a nuclear attack which has caught the attention of the mainstream media as a U.S. official told CNBC that the White House is considering eight potential Syrian targets to retaliate against an alleged chemical weapons attack upon rebels the U.S. finances in Syria, a US official told CNBC Thursday.

Moscow’s Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, continues to warn against any move that risks triggering a full-blown conflict between Russia and the United States.

According to the U.S. official who wishes to remain anonymous, the targets include two airfields and a chemical weapons facility. The pentagon report came hours after US President Donald Trump went to Twitter threatening to attack Syria.

“It’s too bad that the world puts us in a position like that,” said Trump, as Defense Secretary James Mattis headed to the West Wing to present options for a retaliatory strike.

One has to wonder why is president Trump so eager to pick a fight with the 2nd largest modern army of all time?

The Pentagon including Secretary Mattis seem to be backing away from attacking Syria after receiving intelligence that Russia is taking this very seriously and will not sit by an allow the U.S. to bomb a country they have been allied with for over 50 years.

We will continue to follow this story as it develops.
