LAS VEGAS, NV – Netflix has just released the first official trailer for “Barry” [2016], the highly anticipated biopic about 2 term President Barack Obama.
The biopic movie is scheduled to premier on Netflix on Friday December 16th, just over a month before president Obama is set to leave office. The movie centers around his junior year at Columbia University.
Starring in the roll of president Barack Obama is Devon Terrell who will depict the young future president struggling to fit in and navigate his environment. At one point, when a friend comments that because he is of mixed race he can “fit in anywhere,” he responds by saying, “I fit in nowhere.”
Barry [2016] is directed by Vikram Gandhi | Written by Adam Mansbach whom you know from his talents with the Go the F*ck to Sleep projecct. In fact both are Columbia University alumni.
