Watch Mortal Engines Trailer (2018) $100 Million Dollar Science-Fiction Film

LAS VEGAS — Mortal Engines [2018] is the upcoming $100 million dollar budget, New Zealand-American science fiction action adventure film, by director Christian Rivers and written by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Peter Jackson.

It is based on the novel of the same name by Philip Reeve where he brings you the sci-fi production set in a post-apocalyptic steampunk world where entire cities have been mounted on wheels and motorised, and prey on one another.

Rivers came through on the cast which features Hugo Weaving, Hera Hilmar, Robert Sheehan, Jihae, Ronan Raftery, Leila George, Patrick Malahide, and Stephen Lang.

Synopsis:
” Many years after the “Sixty Minute War,” cities survive a now desolate Earth by moving around on giant wheels attacking and devouring smaller towns to replenish their resources.”
