SALT LAKE CITY, UT — (05-23-19) — Republican Utah Commissioner Nathan Ivie, comes out as Gay in new Facebook Video.  Utah Commissioner Nathan Ivie says that it took him more than 20 years to come to terms with being a gay man.

That fear has vanished as Utah Commissioner Nathan Ivie on Wednesday, uploaded a video to his Facebook page, to announce that he is Gay.  The Utah lawmaker says that he is doing his video to share the secret that has caused him pain and confusion since he was nine years old.

In a video posted to Facebook, Ivie opens up about being a Gay man and recounts the difficult experiences of growing up as a closet Gay man.

We attempted to get a response from Ivie’s plae of worship, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but they declined to comment on Commissioner Ivie’s coming out video.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints based in Utah, strictly opposes gay marriage and still considers same-sex relationships to be an abomination.
