FRESNO, CA – (10-25-18) –  Two adult store employees were evacuated in Fresno on October 16, after a white substance was discovered in an envelope mailed to the store.  According to Fresno Fire Spokesman Robert Castillo, the incident happened just before noon at Suzie’s Adult Superstore located at 1267 N. Blackstone.

When the Suzie’s Adult Superstore employee opened the envelope they saw a white substance in foil. They immediately called 911 for help.

Fresno Fire Spokesman Robert Castillo said that upon testing of the substance, it turned out to be methamphetamine.

“Our Type 1 Hazmat Team responded, they evacuated two employees and kinda isolated the area.’ said Robert Castillo. “Our Hazmat team made entry, they retrieved the product. They were able to test it and it tested positive for methamphetamine.” said Castillo.

Luckily, no one was injured during the incident at the Suzie’s Adult Superstore.  Castillo says it is still unclear who sent the envelope.  The case has been turned over to the Fresno Police Department.
