WASHINGTON, D.C. — (03-06-20) — President Trump fired Mick Mulvaney as his acting Chief of Staff on Friday and named his permanent replacement, long time congressional supporter Congressman Mark Meadows.

Mick Mulvaney who made headlines last year in that unforgettable press conference on Ukraine’s quid pro quo being a normal process in Washington D.C., has been demoted to being named special envoy to Northern Ireland.

Trump announced Friday night via Twitter that Mick Mulvaney was out as White House acting chief of staff and Congressman Mark Meadows will be replacing him.
