HOLLYWOOD — (01-15-19) — Sony Pictures Releasing has finally released Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer. The American superhero film is based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Also starring Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, J. B. Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Starr, Marisa Tomei, and Jake Gyllenhaal.

In a history-making pro-LGBT move for the Marvel franchise, the upcoming summer blockbuster will feature two openly transgender actors, making them the first Hollywood superhero movies to do so.

The latest installment of the Spider man franchise was produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios. Sony Pictures Releasing will handle all distribution of the film. LGBTQ Marvel fans are another blockbuster starring Tom Holland and Samuel L. Jackson.

According to Sony Pictures publicity division, Spider-Man Far From Home is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), and the twenty-third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Synopsis:
“Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 5, 2019, in the United States.
