‘Sanford Video & News’ and the ‘Sanford Police Department’ need your help in apprehending the armd gunman who robbed the popular adult store 5 weeks ago.
Detectives are searching for a black man in his 20s, approximately 6-feet, 5-inches tall with an athletic build. Detectives confirmed to our newsroom that the suspect wore dark and camouflage clothing when he entered the store and demanded cash while brandishing a gun.
According to an anonymous source familiar with the case, the employee of the ‘Sanford Video & News’ located at 667 S. Horner Boulevard, was ordered to get down on his knees and put his hands on his head while the gunman raided emptied out the cash register and ran from the scene on foot.
The adult bookstore is known for their exquisite adult entertainment, mainstream movies, music and specializing in Vape products. They carry premium e-liquid, Koi CBD oil, devices and accessories. They also offer a tasting lounge for their customers to try new flavors without buying the bottle to turn around and not like it. They take in trades to upgrade to new devices.
Established in 2018, the Sanford Video & News are neighbors in the Robbins community. When they began vaping, they found themselves driving long distances to find the supplies they wanted. They recognized the need for a local vape shop the rest became history.

Detectives have not released how much the armed robbery suspect got away with nor have they released any information on the direction the suspect when he left the scene.
