Postcards From London: Harris Dickinson In Theaters Nov.23

The long awaited gay film ‘Postcards From London’ starring ‘Harris Dickinson’ (Beach Rats) has been green lit for theatrical release on Nov. 23, 2018. Written and directed by Steve McLean, ‘Postcards From London’ has received impressive reviews on both sides of the Atlantic.

Co-starring Leonardo Salerni, Jonah Hauer-King and Raphael Desprez, ‘Postcards From London’ takes you into the world of a beautiful Essex boy named Jim (Harris Dickinson), who arrives in Soho searching for fame, fortune and cultural stimulation. Down on his luck, he meets “The Raconteurs” a gang of high class male escorts who specialize in post-coital conversation.

Synopsis:
“Postcards From London is set in a vibrant, neon-lit, imaginary vision of Soho, this morality tale manages to be both a beautifully shot homage in the spirit of Derek Jarman and a celebration of the homo-erotic in Baroque art. With a script that keeps you in thrall to Jim’s journey, Postcards from London illuminates the potency of high art in queer history. Beautiful Essex boy Jim (British rising star Harris Dickinson) who, having traveled from the suburbs, finds himself in Soho searching for fame, fortune and cultural stimulation. Down on his luck, he meets with a gang of unusual high class male escorts – The Raconteurs – who specialize in post-coital conversation. What follows is Jim’s comic descent from unsuccessful escort, to artist’s muse and art authenticator – a journey complicated by a rare psychosomatic condition called ‘Stendhal Syndrome’. Rendering him painfully oversensitive to art, the condition threatens to bring about is downfall whilst opening him up to new opportunities – but is Jim willing to grab them?”

Back in May 2018, Strand Releasing acquired all North American distribution rights for ‘Postcards From London’.

Plus after a splash at OutFest Los Angeles on July 12 and at the Damn These Heels Film Festival in Salt Lake City on July 20, there is only one more major teaser before Strand Releasing drops this ‘MUST Watch on DVD and that is at the upcoming OUTshine Film Festival in Miami, FL on October 12.
