Police Release Body Cam Arrest of GOP State Senator With Teenage Boy In Motel Room

MOORE, OK — Resigned out of disgrace, former GOP State Senator Ralph Shortey, who was caught with a 17-year-old boy at a hotel room back in March, is back in the news as the Moore police department released body camera video of the state senator’s arrest.

In the video which you will find below broken up into two parts, does not include the 17 year-old teenager. However the former GOP state senator can be seen wearing a t-shirt with a picture of a sandwich and a bible verse about how women should submit to their husbands.

When police continued to grill Shortey about why he was in a Super 8 motel room with a teenage boy, Shortey simply chuckling and then saying…“Trying to have a good time.”

Shortey later admitted to paying the teenager cash for sex. The loud mouth conservative built a reputation for himself in the Oklahoma State Senate portraying himself as a traditional family values-style Republican. He rose to notarity in the GOP among religious conservatives by constantly supporting anti-gay policies and attacking the LGBTQ community.

After a lengthy and intense investigation, former GOP state senator Ralph Shortey, who is married to a woman and who has three children with her, pleaded guilty to one federal charge of child sex trafficking in court last week.
