SAN DIEGO, CA – (10-29-18) – San Diego Police hunt for killer of a 60 year-old employee of X-Spot Adult Store in the Midway-area on Monday Oct. 29.

The murder took place at the X-Spot Adult Store located at 3606 Midway Dr. The crime was reported to police around 12:45 p.m. By the time paramedics arrived on scene, the woman had passed away.

According to police homicide Lt. Anthony Dupree, the bloody body of the 65-year-old woman was found behind the cash register. The death was originally reported as a shooting, but there were no witnesses. Paramedics told police that there was visible trauma to the woman’s upper body. However it was not clear what kind of weapon was used to kill her.

A man who identified himself as John Paul told reporters that the murder happened “about 100 feet away from where I sit every day”.

“Someone went inside the adult store and found the victim. Then ran outside asking for help, saying there was blood everywhere,” said John Paul. “A neighbor from the area who knows CPR went inside to see if she could help.” said Paul.

There was no evidence of a robbery nor was there an appearance of anything missing from the store. So far, police have no motive for the killing.

Lt. Anthony Dupree described the murder suspect as a white man in his 30s. Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed approximately 250 lbs. He was wearing Navy blue clothing and carrying a Navy blue backpack.

Police did not release the name of the victim, but a man who worked nearby said that she was the owner of the X-Spot Adult Store.
