COLUMBIA, S.C. — (04-24-19) — Police continue their hunt for an adult video store robbery suspect who held up the Video Express, located at 2717 Two Notch Road, on April 18.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the male suspect. The adult video store clerk told deputies that a man came into the store, shopped around for a bit, and then attempted to go behind the counter.

When the Video Express clerk asked the suspect to leave, he told her he had a gun, and that he wanted her to give him the store’s money. The man then forced the clerk to go behind the counter and made her open the register. The suspect also managed to take the blue drop box with cash below the register.

K9 deputies were deployed to help track the suspect. The K9s led deputies to a trash can, where the suspect’s clothing was recovered. The homeowners whose trash can the clothes were recovered from, said the clothes were not theirs.
