UNITED KINGDOM – (09-11-19) – Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s suspension of Parliament has been ruled unlawful by Scotland’s highest Appeals Court.
A panel of three judges at the Court of Session found in favor of a cross-party group of British politicians who were challenging the prime minister’s extreme move.
The decision overturns an earlier ruling from the court, which ruled last week that Mr Johnson had the right to suspend parlaiment and that he had not broken any laws.

However the Scottish Appeals Court disagreed and ruled the move by the prime minister, unlawful.
The ruling will not immediately affect the current suspension of Parliament, which started on Tuesday morning with outrage from members of Parliament.
