Armed Robbery suspects who allegedly held up ‘Hookah Candy Love Store’ in Sunset Park, lead two NYPD police cruisers in a high speed chase that resulted in the cruisers crashing.
Fortunately the chase resulted in the two male suspects being arrested. Police received a call at 7:13 p.m. of a gunman robbing the ‘Hookah Candy Love Store’ located at 871 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn, said police.
According to a spokesman for the NYPD, the two men were arrested and one firearm was recovered at the scene.
Now that the suspects are in custody and no longer a danger to other adult entertainment businesses, the NYPD are now inspecting the damage of the NYPD cruisers involved in the crash. The front right sides of two blue-and-white cruisers suffered major damage during the pursuit, but luckily none of the officers were injured.
The ‘Hookah Candy Love Store’ based at 817 3rd Avenue and 32nd Street (Map it), is very popular in the neighborhood and this incident took fellow merchants and residents by surprise.
The popular adult shop brings adult consumers wall-to-wall in intimate products, sex games, blowup dolls and some of the hottest adult DVDs on the market.
