HOLLYWOOD, CA — (04-26-19) — The official Murder Mystery trailer is here, starring Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler and Luke Evans in the comedy movie directed by Kyle Newacheck. Murder Mystery is an upcoming American mystery-comedy film written by James Vanderbilt.

In March 2018, Happy Madison Productions announced that CEO Adam Sandler and actress Jennifer Aniston had signed to star in the Murder Mystery comedy film, reuniting them after the film, ‘Just Go with It’.

The Murder Mystery film will premiere on Netflix as part of Adam Sandler’s distribution deal for his Happy Madison Productions label.

Synopsis:
“A New York City police officer finally takes his wife on a long-promised European trip. A chance meeting on a flight with a mysterious man gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the super yacht of an elderly billionaire. When the wealthy man is murdered, they become the prime suspects.”

In June 2018, Luke Evans, Gemma Arterton, David Walliams, Erik Griffin, John Kani, Shioli Kutsuna, Luis Gerardo Mendez, Adeel Akhtar, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Dany Boon and Terence Stamp had joined the cast.

Principal photography on Murder Mystery began on June 14, 2018 in Montréal. In late July 2018, filming began in Italy at different locations including Santa Margherita Ligure, Lake Como and Milan.

Netflix has scheduled Murder Mystery to be released on June 14, 2019.
