Andy Powell:  Allison, you know that Eldorado is always welcomed on the LGBT B2B Adult news Leader.  I have to ask you right off the bat…Holiday Season is coming! and judging by the amount of new products that are scheduled to ship in November and December, are you anticipating a record in sales for Holiday Season 2017?

Allison Travers:  We are certainly planning for it! Our warehouse is already in Holiday mode and packed to the max with product.  We have seen a lot of mainstream media coverage on various products this year and we believe that will lead to more consumer demand than ever.

Andy Powell: While Eldorado is busy breaking sales records in wholesale to retail, we have also learned that Eldorado has launched Lesson 11 ‘Dress Me Up, Tie Me Down – BDSM Basics.  Tell us how its going for retail merchants with the Elevate U Series that is a must take line of courses to help retail merchants achieve success with their customer base.

Allison Travers: The Elevate U e-learning series has been a huge hit with retailers with over 600 learners enrolled and active in the program and more people interested every day.  The program is a must for retailers who want to go above and beyond to distinguish themselves from online big box retailers by offering their customers great service.  The program goes beyond just product focus and covers 16 different sexual health topics to give retailers the tools to help the end consumer make informed decisions about their purchases.

Andy Powell: The EasyToy Collection, the fresh new Comedy Central Licensed Broad City Line from Lovehoney.  The Skinsation line, wow, what other exciting new lines are coming down the pike to close out 2017 and start 2018 from Eldorado?

Allison Travers: One of the most prominent releases is the Fifty Shades Freed collection from Lovehoney.  With the last movie installation in the franchise slated to release on Valentine’s Day 2018, this line will be a must for retailers.  Another line we are excited to stock is the new Eldorado exclusive Steamy Shades line from ST Rubber.  It’s the perfect beginner bondage line with a wide range of products and inviting packaging.  New to Eldorado is the high-tech line from SenseMax and coming soon is the new collection from PornHub and Ann Summers.

Andy Powell: Retailers have been asking about more manufacturers producing video demos of their product lines, do you see manufacturers investing in this particular marketing tool for retailers in 2018?

Allison Travers: We have seen some recent increase in this.  b-Vibe has started to crank out helpful product videos for retailers and end consumers.  Several of the major players already have YouTube channels with product demos, or demos on their websites such as CalExotics and Pipedream.  Eldorado has curated our own YouTube channel with over 1,400 videos and 4,100,100 views.  We took this one step further and by producing Elevate U in co-operation with The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health that teaches retail staff how to really help their customers understand how various pleasure products can help them achieve and enhance their sex lives.

Andy Powell: Allison, you know I have to ask about the now in stock Rianne S collection which brings retailers the Rianne S Bella Mini G Floral (Deep Purple) and the Rianne S Bella Mini Body Wand (French Rose).  How did your veteran buyers at Eldorado know to bring this exquisite line to your award winning top selling brands?

Allison Travers: Eldorado has been carrying Rianne’s products since 2012 so bringing in additional products from them was a no brainer.  Our Purchasing team has done a great job in scouring the industry for the latest and greatest products.  They collaborate with the Sales team to determine which products to bring in.  Offering unique and interesting products is what we pride ourselves on doing.

Andy Powell: Tell us about the sexy Pink Lipstick collection that is set to street in retail at the end of October.  This line up could drive women crazy with excitement and retailers with their profits!

Allison Travers: Pink Lipstick has expanded its plus size selection to include two sizes to fit a wider range of bodies which we think retailers will really appreciate.  Select styles are available in their new Plus Size O/S, which fits most up to 1X-3X, and their Plus Size, which fits sizes 1X-2X and 3X-4X.  These new plus sized styles include sexy two piece sets, teddys, chemises and dresses.  They have also expanded their One Size line and combined S/M and M/L sizing line that consists of teddys, sets and dresses.

Andy Powell: Allison, I couldn’t let you go without sending a shout out to our dear friend Larry Garland, who passed away earlier this year.  The staff and management were shocked and heart broken over his loss.  Eldorado has been a major sponsor of the LGBT B2B Adult News Network for years and it was like losing a member of your immediate family.  How is everyone doing at Eldorado?

Allison Travers: Thank you for the kind words Andy.  Larry was an amazing human being and businessman.  He touched so many of our lives in a positive way and was a true pioneer in our industry.  As with the loss of any great leader, there is a recovery and healing period that we all must endure.  We continue to adjust to this devastating loss, but we know that Larry would want us to carry on and continue his vision and passion for Eldorado.  We have regrouped as a team and are dedicated to carrying on his legacy.  His wife Wanda who has been an integral part of the success of Eldorado for the last 40 years, has assumed the role of chief executive officer and we are confident that Eldorado will continue to set industry standards under her leadership.
