PRAGUE — (12-23-19) — Legendary Gay porn director William Higgins died at the age of 77 at his home in Prague last Saturday. Higgins was one of the pioneers of gay porn and had a successful track record of gay porn hits throughout the 80s 90s and early 2000s.
William Higgins took gay porn to another level in the eighties with his blockbuster hits “Big Guns” (1987), “Pacific Coast Highway” (1981), “Sailor in the Wild” (1983), “The Young and the Hung” (1985) and Pizza Boy: He Still Delivers starring Tony Stefano, Grant Fagin and David Ashfield.
The iconic producer and director was also instrumental in making gay porn models Kip Noll, Jan Dvorak, Mike Henson, Jack Davenport, Jack Wrangler and Jon King into gay porn superstars.

After launching Catalina Video and delivering a treasure trove of gay porn content, Higgins sold his gay porn label to Chi Chi LaRue‘ Channel 1 Releasing in 2007. He then went on to launch the William Higgins Gay Porn Network.
