Homophobic judicial candidate in Florida, Donald McBath, whom many will known him from his comments on social media where he says that Gay people are going to hell and that Muslims were deranged, now says that he can be trusted to be fair to minority groups and everyone else if he is elected to a judgeship in the orange state of Florida. He is also known for his outrageous statement that he posted on Facebook back in February, where McBath wrote …“If the homosexual continues committing that sin of sodomy, his soul faces ETERNAL damnation. Abstain, if you really have that mental illness. It’s not love.” Last year, he had written on Twitter, “Muslims are deranged!!!!” and “Never trust a Muslim.”

A family law attorney in the Tampa Bay area, Donald McBath is attempting to win a judgeship in Florida’s Sixth Circuit, covering Pinellas and Pasco counties, on the Gulf Coast.

Donald McBath held an interview with the Tampa Bay Times where he said….”My personal beliefs won’t affect my work as a judge.” McBath told The Times. “I absolutely can still be fair no matter what kind of beliefs that I may have. We all have our own personal beliefs based on what’s happened in our lives, and as long as it doesn’t interfere with how we treat a person, that’s the goal.” said McBath.

That hasn’t persuaded LGBT activists and legal experts from saying that

That hasn’t persuaded LGBT activists and legal experts who say that Homophobic Judicial Candidate McBath’s comments aren’t worth a nickle. “Don McBath has revealed himself to be incapable of treating the LGBT community with dignity and respect,” said Equality Florida executive director Nadine Smith told the Tampa Bay Times. “He lacks the temperament required of a judge to deal impartially with the facts.” said Smith.

Following his interview with the Tampa Bay Times, McBath immediately posted a text message to the reporter to reiterate his position on homosexuality. Even though he had stated in his interview with the Tampa Bay Times that voters should focus on other issues. “Let me make it more clear. Jesus condemned sodomy.” McBath stated in his test message.

One has to wonder just who would have confidence in someone with such obvious dark ages mentality.
