REYKJAVIK, ISL — (02-08-19) — Gothic trio Hatari debuts at #36 on the International Gay Music Chart with ‘Spillingardans, the Gothic dance music video that is going viral.

Hatari members Klemens Hannigan, Matthías Tryggvi Haraldsson and Einar Stefánsson, received so much heat last week that the ‘Spillingardans’ music video made its debut in the Top 40 on the Gay Music Chart 2019 week 05.

The song is being described as disturbing, scary, intriguing and exciting. In fact the industrial gothic group was selected to Songvakeppnin, the Icelandic national selection for 2019 Eurovision Song Competition.

While ‘Spillingardans’ wasn’t selected by Eurovision, you are sure to be intrigued and excited by their performance and wonder why ‘Spillingardans’ wasn’t selected.

Not only that but the award-winning band HATARI concluded its work as a group on December 24, 2018, according to Svikamylla Ehf.

“The award-winning band Hatari concludes its work at the end of this year. The board of directors of Svikamylla ehf. passed a resolution that the band would be terminated at the general meeting of the corporation earlier this month. It is clear that consumers that do not ensure a ticket for the last concert of the band, ENDALOK, at Húrra on December 28th, will never again see them in person, as doomsday is soon upon us. The recently released video for the track “SPILLINGARDANS” is their last attempt at dismantling the apparatus capitalism. The business did not meet the expectations of the board, and therefore the artists of HATARI formally handed in their letters of resignation on the 24th of December.”,  Board of Directors, Svikamylla Ehf..
