THE SUPER is an upcoming American thriller starring Val Kilmer and Patrick John Flueger. Directed by Stephan Rick and written by John J. McLaughlin, The Super is already being described as a heart stopping thriller.
Fortress Features and Wolf Films held the reigns as the official production companies. Saban Films acquired U.S. distribution rights to THE SUPER in August 2018.
Writer John J. McLaughlin (Black Swan), based the thriller on an idea by Law & Order creator Dick Wolf. In fact Wolf held the reigns as producer through his company Wolf Entertainment. The thriller film was co-produced by Tom Thayer, Patrick Rizzotti and Brett Forbes.
Synopsis:
“A man becomes the superintendent of a large New York City apartment building where people mysteriously go missing.”
Saban Films dropped the official trailer of ‘THE SUPER’ on September 18 on YouTube and already has set October 19 as it’s release date. The distributor is planning on the film to run in theaters through Halloween and on VOD.
