FARGO, ND — (02-26-20) — Police arrested 26 year-old Fargo man Christopher Wiener,  for the sex toy robbery at Romantix that took place on Tuesday.

The robbery took place on Tuesday at the Romantix adult store located at 417 Northern Pacific Ave in downtown Fargo.

According to police, 26 year-old Christopher Wiener (pictured above), told investigators he became embarrassed by his interest in the artificial vagina when a woman entered the store.

Christopher Wiener of Fargo was charged Tuesday in Cass County District Court with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine, both Class C felonies.

According to a police report filed in the case, Fargo Police Officer Brent Malone was clearing a disturbance call Tuesday around 12:25 a.m. at the Romantix bookstore at 417 NP Ave., when an employee of the store told him a man leaving the store had stolen an artificial vagina.

When Officer Malone stopped Wiener in the 100 block of Fourth Street North, he asked him where the box containing the merchandise came from.

Wiener told Officer Malone he had bought the item from Romantix. However upon further discussion, according to the police report, Christopher Wiener told Malone that “I saw an opportunity, I took it, and it was stupid,” adding that he’d become embarrassed when a female entered the store.

Wiener was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property and taken to the Cass County jail. At the jail, according to the report, a Cass County deputy discovered meth and a glass pipe with residue among Wiener’s belongings.

Malone asked Wiener if he had been using narcotics or alcohol earlier in the evening, and Wiener said that he had been using ecstasy.

The artificial vagina bandit made his first court appearance Wednesday in Cass County District Court, at which his bail was set at $500.
