Eighteen Year-Old Arrested After Bomb Threat on Gay Nightclub

MELBOURNE, FL — (02-07-19) — Eighteen year-old Randolph Goodwin has been arrested after allegedly threatening to blow up a gay bar in Melbourne, Florida.

According to investigators, Randolph Goodwin called The Twisted Rooster located at 1220 W New Haven Ave., on January 31 and asked the person who answered if gay people drink at the gay bar.

The employee who took the call said that The Twisted Rooster is known to be a “no labels bar” and told Goodwin the hours of operation. According to investigators, this is when the eighteen year-old became agitated and started screaming at the employee ove rthe phone. He then said that he was going to the Twisted Rooster to blow up the gay bar and then hung up.

The young anti-LGBT troubled youth thought that by calling the gay bar with a blocked number and a poor excuse of a middle eastern accent, he wouldn’t be caught. Talk about a wake up call of reality!

Police were able to trace the call and identify Randolph Goodwin as the domestic terrorist caller. Goodwin told police that the call was one in a string of prank calls that he and his friends were making that day.

Police quickly searched the Twisted Rooster for any explosives but thankfully, none were found.

The true American patriots of run the Twisted Rooster posted on their Facebook page…“We will not tolerate any kind of hate crime, and it stops here!”

This was an dark reminder of the terrorist attack on the Pulse gay nightclub back in 2016 where 49 people were killed and 53 others were wounded.

Randolph Goodwin is scheduled to appear in court on February 28 for his arraignment. If he is found guilty of the crime of creating a false bomb threat, he could face up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
