C & J Adult Bookstore Robber Brady Sprague Captured

Deputies of the Manatee County Sheriff’s office say Brady Sprague was captured for the robbery of the C & J adult bookstore two weeks ago.

Detectives say that 50 year-old Brady Sprague had a disguise and browsed the adult toy section grabbing his selection in a pleasure product. Police further say that Sprague walked over to the counter with the sex toysn and then handed the clerk a note demanding money in the cash register.

According to police the note said harm would be done if his orders were not followed to the letter.

Deputies say that after initiating their investigation into this crime, they were able to identify Brady Sprague and arrested him at his home this past Saturday, Sept. 29. The stolen adult toy was recovered during the arrest.

With the amount of adult store robberies hitting news wires nationwide this year, local ABC News affiliate ABC7 Sarasota covered the incident.
