LIVERPOOL, UNITED KINGDOM – (10-01-19) (Gay News) – The upcoming The War of the Worlds three-part British drama miniseries official trailer is here.

The three-part miniseries is produced by Mammoth Screen for the BBC, co-produced with Creasun Media and Red Square. The Sci-Fi series is an adaptation of the H.G. Wells novel of the same name, and is the first British television adaptation of H.G. Wells’ novel ever produced by the BBC One network.

The War of the Worlds stars TV Choice Awards UK-Nominee Eleanor Tomlinson, Rafe Spall, Rupert Graves and Robert Carlyle. The sci-fi miniseries was written by Peter Harness and directed by Craig Viveiros.

Synopsis:
“Set in Edwardian England, the series follows George (Rafe Spall) and his partner Amy (Eleanor Tomlinson) as they attempt to defy society and start a life together, facing the escalating terror of an alien invasion, while fighting for their lives against an enemy beyond their comprehension.”

The BBC One network has scheduled The War of the Worlds to premier on BBC One on October 6, 2019.
