Batwoman CW – Lesbian Superhero Ruby Rose Coming this Fall

HOLLYWOOD, CA — (05-16-19) — The CW network has finally released Ruby Rose, Elizabeth Anweis, Aqeel Ash-Shakoor and Jerry L. Beasley in the Batwoman CW Trailer HD.

The is the first time that a network is releasing a DC Comics superhero targeting the LGBTQ community with a Lesbian character taking the lead as Batwoman.

Synopsis:
“Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope!”

The CW has scheduled Batwoman to air on Sundays at 8 p.m. (prime time). Check your local listings this Fall.
